Scope of the role:
This is a brand-new role that has been created to support a newly onboarded client, in addition to the development of our clients larger, bespoke delivery solutions.
Reporting directly into the Head of Delivery Solutions, you will take responsibility primarily for coordinating the daily management and ongoing enhancement of our clients USA solution.
You will be supporting the Head of Delivery Solutions with their global carrier strategy, and be specifically focused on the development of niche/specialist delivery solutions.
This is an exciting and challenging role for someone who has experience ideally in the end-to-end carrier industry, alternatively someone who has a good understanding of global parcel distribution looking to switch their career up a gear.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate cross functional activities to support large scale bespoke UK to US logistics solution.
Compile, monitor and report on service level KPIs.
Quantify service risks and proactively investigate failure.
Seek to identify, validate and implement operational efficiencies (time and/or cost focused)
Support new initiative roll out, collaborating with wider business teams as either stakeholder or PM where required.
Furnish sales/account management teams with solution expertise both on client calls and through supporting information where applicable.
Knowledge and experience of global carrier market solutions, ideally in the ecommerce sector.
Understanding of import/export basics.
Project management.
Previous experience of working with 3PL providers alongside multiple Carriers, or within a retail environment managing multi carrier strategies.
Creation of business cases.
Commercially astute.
Innovative and customer focused.
Ability to adapt to rapid change.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Team Player, with a strong focus on collaborative working.
Ability to communicate affectively at all levels.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
