About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Hub Supervisor to join a rapidly growing tech start-up in London. You must be open to shift work as shifts will vary through weekends and weekdays, daytime and evening and amount to approximately 40 hours a week.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search.

Our team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, sort and scan inbound parcels.

Be the first point of contact for our clients courier team.

Organise courier routes and physical handovers.

Managing stock held on behalf of clients.

Arranging maintenance of our clients fleet.

Dispatch outbound deliveries.

Liaise with live operations to troubleshoot.

Be ready and trained to do the occasional emergency deliveries.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment compliant with health and safety.

Post shift asset checks.

Skills and experience required

Experience in some form of warehouse, logistics-related or material management operations.

Experience sorting and scanning parcels then picking groups of packages to hand off to the courier.

Resilient with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Tech-ready and a fast learner, ready to adapt and develop.

Confident in finding solutions and taking decisions in real-time.

Ability to multi-task and prioritise.

Proactive in managing the workload.

Flexibility in your mindset to handle the unexpected.
