Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Key Account Manager on behalf of an extremely innovative, technology focused time critical logistics business.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to commence the search.

Our team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.

Scope of the Role:

Reporting directly into the Client Development Director you will be responsible for developing our clients Strategic & Key Accounts customer portfolio utilising their personalised logistics solutions and products.

The role will be field based achieving your retention and SoW growth through conversion of your own client development plans.

With a robust lead qualification process to build a strong and resilient pipeline and utilising your skills and experience in consultative selling, you will work closely with key decision makers to convert leads into new revenue flows. You will also work on growing your assigned customer portfolio through development new lanes/services and establishing share of wallet knowledge by customer.

Key Accountabilities:

Portfolio Growth via timely price increase on allocated portfolio.

SoW Pipeline Growth, Conversion Cycle & Business Wins via strategic detailed Client Development plans.

Quarterly Commercial Client Reviews.

Various Business Projects (ie Brexit).

Skills and experience required

Proven ability to generate and develop new business opportunities from existing accounts, ideally within the time critical logistics/logistics sector or within a specific industry sector.

Ambitious and driven with a proven track record of success in consultative selling.

Ability to gather and use market/client intelligence.

Proven track record acting as an initial single point of contact with clients.

Highly autonomous with a positive “can do” attitude.

Bright and articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Sharp commercial acumen.

Ability to build strong internal relationships within our clients extended operations team.

Fully flexible on travel – with a full clean driving license.
