Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Netherlands based Solution Design Manager on behalf of an extremely innovative, technology focused logistics business.
This role would be most suited to a Solution Design Analyst ready to step their career up a gear, or a Solution Design Manager who has hit a glass ceiling with their current employer looking to join a forward thinking business offering unlimited opportunities for career development and progression.

Scope of the Role:
To develop efficient and innovative logistic solutions catered to the needs and requirements of our clients customers.
To effectively manage logistic partners: managing rates, available capacities, service levels.
Work together with stakeholders from commercial and operations.
Key Accountabilities:
Effective management of involved partners (maintain rate cards up to date, capacities, annual reviews)
Build robust and profitable logistics solutions that directly meet the needs of new and existing clients and the company. Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimise cost and efficiency.
Support the Sales Team to deliver New Business targets within the required timeframes.
Produce contractual documents that accurately reflect what has been sold.
Effectively analyse data to identify client need and commercial opportunity.
Undertake post bid reviews for both wins and losses internally and externally.
Comply with and always uphold the Sales and Bid Management Process.
Continually identify and act upon optimisation opportunities that increase operating margins.

Proven track record in a solution design or bid and tender management role in the logistics industry is essential.
Experience in express/service logistics desired.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in benchmarking/pricing tools within logistics is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Experience in creating commercial ready presentations in ppt.
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
Ability to maintain good working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
