Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a hungry, driven, entrepreneurial Sales Executive, on behalf of an extremely forward thinking, technology focused international shipping and freight brokerage, with an enviable reputation within worldwide express parcel delivery and transportation.
This role would be perfectly suited to an energetic Sales Graduate looking for an opportunity to build a successful career within the logistics sector, and who likes the sound of joining a business who are investing heavily in the next generation of talent.
You will be part of a team where your voice will be heard, you are more than just a number, and based on the value you add you will have a flight path towards becoming an external Sales/Business Development Manager.
£25,000 – £30,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) commission structure – 10% of all GP generated for the lifetime of your accounts trading, holidays, pension and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:
As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth by selling a variety of freight forwarding and international parcel delivery services (initially over the phone and then in person as you become more experienced) in addition to building long term relationships with your customers.
Your role will be to promote our clients services and increase the existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate your own leads via lead generation platforms or other methods. (Training will be provided on this)
Meet and/or exceed your new business target monthly.
Grow the overall profit of the international P&L by closing high margin deals.
Build strong relationships internally with colleagues and externally with customers.
Seek opportunities to increase knowledge of competitors and contribute to our clients competitor matrix.
It’s essential you’re a Sales Graduate with a hunger and passion to want to excel in a pure new business generation role.
Possess a willingness to learn, be coached and mentored and become the best sales person you can be.
Are comfortable with being able to source your own leads.
Have the ability to think on your feet and work at pace.
You like to help people and are an out of the box thinker.
You’re an outgoing, engaging and confident individual, comfortable with interactions over the phone and face and face.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A pro-active individual with the ability to self-manage but who also likes to work as part of a team.
Strong team player keen to work across different departments and to soak up as much knowledge as possible about the business and industry.
Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally and speak and act with credibility.
