About this position

Vidu is working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Strategic Sales/Business Development Professional on behalf of a tech start-up, who are building the AI infrastructure layer for parcel delivery networks to automate carrier integration.

Their platform automates carrier integration workflows across logistics ecosystems — reducing onboarding time, eliminating manual processes, and enabling parcel operators, carriers, and delivery platforms to connect faster and operate more efficiently.

They work with parcel carriers, logistics platforms, delivery aggregators, and enterprise shippers to modernise integration operations using AI-driven automation.

As they scale, they are now looking for a commercially driven Sales/Business Development Professional to help expand their customer base and strategic partnerships across the logistics and transport sector.

If you’re commercially driven, motivated by building relationships, curious about technology, and excited by solving operational problems in logistics, with the ability to confidently engage both commercial and technical stakeholders, this role will be right up your street!

This is a hybrid role, with 1 day a week in our clients London office.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to commence the initial search.

£60,000-£70,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus bonus structure (up to 50% of your basic salary) equity, 25 days holiday plus statutory, pension and insane opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:

To drive new business growth across parcel delivery, carrier networks, logistics technology, and e-commerce fulfilment markets.

You will identify opportunities, build strategic relationships, and help position our clients AI automation platform as a critical solution for modern delivery networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across: Parcel Carriers, Delivery Networks, 3PLs, Logistics Technology Providers, Ecommerce Fulfilment Operators and Shipping platforms.

Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise prospects and strategic partners.

Lead outbound business development activity including networking, partnerships, and industry engagement.

Work closely with product and technical teams to align customer requirements with platform capabilities.

Develop commercial proposals, partnership agreements, and enterprise sales presentations.

Attend logistics, supply chain, and transport industry events and conferences.

Maintain strong knowledge of: Carrier Integration Workflows, Delivery Network Operations, API Ecosystems, Logistics Automation trends, AI Applications in Transport Technology and support go-to-market strategy development and market expansion initiatives.

Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers including: Operations Directors, CEO’s CTOs, Integration Managers, Supply Chain Leaders andCommercial Heads.

Skills and experience required

4+ years experience in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or commercial roles.

Existing network within parcel delivery or the logistics sectors.

It would be desirable if you understand logistics technology, carrier operations and onboarding, API based solutions, integration environments, or SaaS enterprise sales, and you thrive in high-growth environments.

Strong commercial communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage enterprise sales cycles and stakeholder engagement.

Self-starter mentality with strong organisational skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.

Knowledge of AI automation or workflow automation technologies would be advantageous.

Experience working with enterprise logistics platforms would be desirable.
