Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a hungry, driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager based on the East Coast, USA, on behalf of a rapidly growing, technology driven logistics business.

$100,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) uncapped commission structure (for the lifetime of the account) health care benefits, pension, life and disability insurance, 401K, and paid holidays.

Your Mission:
Self-generate and convert new opportunities, achieving $1m revenue per year.
Meet with clients face to face, over the phone and/or via Teams etc.
Build and develop relationships with clients.
Understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet and/or exceed customer needs.
Have a good understanding of the businesses’ services and be able to educate potential customers about all services.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling international ecommerce.
Preferably knowledge of both postal and commercial services.
Proven success working with medium to large companies.
Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
Written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills.
IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets.
A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.
