About this position

Vidu is working on a super exciting assignment, in the search for a Mandarin and English speaking, Business Development Manager, based in Shenzhen, China, on behalf of a rapidly growing, global eCommerce distribution and logistics specialist, focused on powering cross-border eCommerce.

With strong expansion plans across the UK, Europe, USA, and Asia, our client are building a world-class network for final-mile delivery, hi-tech automated customs clearance, road transport , warehouse & ground parcels operations , fulfilment & Sort and international freight solutions.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to commence the initial search.

Package:
£50,000 GBP equivalent (paid in RMB) Includes Housing Provident Fund contributions

Performance Targets:
£1,000,000 annual new business target (RMB equivalent)
£250,000 quarterly target (RMB equivalent)

Commission Structure:
5% of Gross Profit (GP) upon achieving quarterly targets
Additional +1% GP commission for every £500,000 (RMB equivalent) above the £1M annual target (RMB equivalent)

Your Mission:

As Business Development Manager you will be a brand ambassador and represent our client’s business in China — building relationships, closing deals, and driving revenue growth across cross-border logistics and parcels solutions.

It’s imperative you feel you have the energy, drive, contacts and connections to build a significant presence in China for this arm of our client’s business and that you back yourself to be accountable for driving growth for them in the Chinese market.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive new business acquisition across eCommerce parcel distribution

Develop and manage relationships with key Chinese eCommerce players, platforms, and sellers

Sell solutions across:
International parcel distribution, Customs clearance, Warehousing , Fulfilment Ground Parcels Operations , Air, Sea, and Road freight

Represent our client at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events

Execute on-the-ground sales strategy in Shenzhen and wider China

Deliver against aggressive revenue targets and growth KPIs

Build and leverage a strong “black book” of industry contacts

Act as a brand ambassador for our client in the Chinese market

Skills and experience required

Proven heavyweight experience in eCommerce logistics and parcels sales

Proven track record exceeding targets selling eCommerce distribution, customs clearance, Air / Sea / Road transport

Well-established network within China’s eCommerce ecosystem

Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

A natural deal-closer with a confident, charismatic sales approach

Self-starter with high energy, ambition, and resilience

Strong personality — ability to influence, negotiate, and lead conversations

Ability to pitch, present, and sell with confidence and pride
