Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a hungry, driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager on behalf of rapidly growing, extremely innovative parcel delivery business.

Circa 70,000-80,000 euros basic salary (dependent on experience and inclusive of holiday pay and pension contribution) plus a fully expensed car, completely uncapped commission structure, laptop, phone, 25 days holiday with the option to buy an additional 5 more and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:

Role & Responsibilities:

Grow the current customer portfolio in The Netherlands. It’s imperative you are a sales hunter by nature and feel comfortable with achieving new business targets.

Passionate about eCommerce/logistics and understand the shipping industry.

Solutions focused and will understand questions from the customers – know how to convert these questions into a suitable logistics solution.

You will look for new markets and know how to convince potential customers of the quality of our clients service.

You will manage the full end-end process with the customer. Guiding them from the first point of contact, through the implementation process and to the point where they are super satisfied with the service provided.

Skills and experience required

4+ years of experience in the parcel, eCommerce and/or Cross border market.

Possess the hunger, drive and passion to be accountable in an extremely fast-growing start up.

Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language. A 3rd language would be advantageous but is not essential.

Ability to work well autonomously in addition to well with colleagues in a team environment.

Knowledge of designing and setting up logistics concepts and supply chain management capabilities.

A great sense of responsibility and result-oriented.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.

Ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong networker and negotiator.
