Role overview:

These are really exciting and challenging opportunities. Our client are looking for individuals who have experience in the end-to-end carrier industry. It’s imperative you understand all about outbound delivery solutions, returns solutions and any industry related innovations.

The main elements of this role will be to monitor and manage our clients carriers and partners, to define new relationships and to continuously develop best in class delivery and return propositions and processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage relationships with the partners and carriers to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Support in continuously delivering Proposition Enhancements and lead implementation in the UK, Europe, USA (and beyond as required)

Forecasting and carrier planning.

Lead and drive day to day operations ensuring all service levels are achieved.

Support all new service implementations working with the Senior Management team.

Look to achieve faster and wider choice of deliveries and returns for our customers.

Support the Carrier Management operational and IT road maps.

Work with the Internal teams to ensure optimised solutions exist.

Pro-active SLA and KPI monitoring and management.

Financial Management – managing carriers to ensure they deliver within contractual parameters.

Owning and conducting regular carrier reviews, managing performance alongside looking to identify opportunities.

Peak/holiday and seasonal planning, pushing boundaries to provide enhanced delivery propositions for our customers.

Ability to identify cost related risk and where necessary implement corrective action.

Skills and experience required

Experience of UK, Europe (and ideally beyond) Carrier Market.

Awareness of International Carrier Operations.

Understanding of International e-fulfilment propositions and processes.

Previous experience of and a preference of working with 3PL providers alongside Multiple Carriers.

Creation of financial business cases.

Experience of presenting to Senior Management level.

Commercially aware/astute.

Innovative and customer focused.

Reactive and responsive to change.

Ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Team Player with the ability to work well autonomously.

Ability to communicate affectively at all levels.

Project Management skills (desirable)

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
