Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a China Sales & Country Manager. This is a remote based role, therefore our client are open to where in China you are based.

450,000 -550,000 Yuan basic salary (dependent on experience) plus 53,000 Yuan per year car allowance, travel expenses, uncapped commission structure, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays, and pension, in addition to equity and excellent opportunities for career progression and development towards operating board status and beyond, based on the value you add!

Overview:

Our client are a global SaaS technology e-commerce shipping platform, in the search for an entrepreneurial, solution focused Strategic Sales/Business Development Professional, ideally with a proven track record of success selling eCommerce distribution, International or Cross border and an operational background.

If you’re highly driven, have a passion for eCommerce and Cross border solutions, enjoy building relationships, love a challenge and like the sound of becoming a Country Manager in the next 12 -18 months, this role will be right up your street!

Scope of the Role:

The role will initially be very focused on generating new business, but as the company scales you will be responsible for the success of their expansion into the Chinese market—overseeing all aspects of the business.

You will be stepping up into a Country Manager role in which you will be accountable for building a team, the continuous development of new business, managing operations, profitability and taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage every aspect of our clients newly expanding operation in the China.

As the business builds you will also be responsible for recruiting and managing your team, including performance monitoring, mentoring, developing and training.

Negotiating with vendors and service providers needed for production.

Collaborating with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services.

Synthesising monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development.

Networking effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships.

Contributing to the overall global success of our clients business.

Skills and experience required

Previous experience in a Strategic Sales/Business Development role within eCommerce distribution, International – Cross border.

Chinese and English speaking is essential.

Highly motivated and reactive to change.

The ability to influence senior stakeholders (internally and externally)

Strong inter-personal and communication skills and the courage to challenge.

Agile and driven to deliver in a fast paced environment.

The ability to work well autonomously and well as part of a team.

Results orientated and driven by goal achievement.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Willingness to travel (There may be occasional travel to the UK and US)
