About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an Italian speaking Client Development Manager to manage the relationship “in Country” with a Tier 1 retail client, on behalf of a rapidly growing eCommerce distribution business.

This role would be most suited to an individual who has previously held Contract Manager, Customer Service or Account Management roles, who can understand not only how to manage the commercials around the account but also areas around delivery, service management and operational performance, as you will be the main interface between our client and the Retailer.

This is a hybrid role – 2 days a week will be spent at head office in Basildon, the rest home based with travel to Italy three or four times a month.

£55,000-£60,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus bonus structure and package.

Your Mission:

Managing the day to day relationship with the stores.

Working with CMT to source the best carrier.

Managing the day to day relationship with carrier.

Ensuring there is regular feedback sessions with the Retailers Management Team, capturing actions and resolving with relevant owners and stakeholders.

Liaising with the Head Office Team feeding back any issues to be raise to the Retailer.

Preparing and presenting monthly country overview – including service performance and quality performance.

Skills and experience required

Previous experience within: Contract Manager, Customer Services or Account Management.

Must speak Italian and English.

Willingness to travel to Italy to visit client stores.

Good problem solving abilities and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Highly autonomous with a positive “can do” attitude.

Sharp commercial acumen.

Microsoft XP – Excel, Word, Email, Access and Power Point skills.

Consistent drive, energy and positive attitude.

Ability to build strong relationships internally with Operations and Carrier Management and external with clients.

Flexible work ethic.

Results driven and self confident with an ability to empathise.
