Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Client OPS Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing, extremely innovative logistics business.

Your Mission:

Reporting directly to the Head of EU Air Network, your mission will be to drive excellence across the BER- client base; ensuring the client solution delivers exceptional results whilst maximising margin and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountability KPI’s:
Management of various operational flows.
Client fulfilment centre into outbound airport.
Overpacking at partner site.
Outbound airport into destination airport.
Return flows from airport into client fulfilment centre – On time performance.
Client gross margin.
Client NPS.
Supplier NPS.
Customer retention.

Supplier Performance:
Monitor and manage team/network performance based on quantitative KPIs.

Identify and implement commercial operational improvement measures.

Business Development:
Support the sales and solutions team in their growth and implementation plans.
New business.

Key Competency Required:
Operational experience – experience at relevant level with the ability to invoke change and best practice.

Communication – excellent communication skills adopting an appropriate approach for the target audience. With an engaging style you will be able to manage people supportively while driving a high level of performance.

Continuous improvement mindset – challenges the norm to ensure operational excellence and commercial return. Highly tolerant of change and solutions focused.

Skills and experience required

3+ yrs knowledge and experience in air and road transport industry.

Operational experience with the ability to invoke change and best practise.

Solid and relevant commercial understanding and experience within the service logistics sector.

Commercial acumen – focused on maximising commercial opportunity but with the ability to balance operational and strategic needs whilst delivering exceptional service.

Strong analytical skills which enables the development and delivery of clear action plans to rectify issues based on objective analysis.

Proven track record delivering high levels of external client satisfaction.

Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation and work across areas to deliver projects and plans to conclusion.

Ability to balance multiple priorities.

German speaking with good command of the English language.
