Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Commercial Analyst/Pricing Analyst to be based out of Nuneaton on behalf of a rapidly growing express logistics business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hungry, driven, Commercial Analyst/Pricing Analyst with a couple of years experience, looking to join a fast paced growing business, offering fantastic opportunities for career development and progression.

Scope of the role:

To achieve profitable growth in our clients Express division by analysing customer quotes, supporting the Sales team and delivering commercial projects.

Main Responsibilities:

Analysing sales quotations (360 view – margin/rates/operational/services), discussions with the Sales team and production of customer service agreements for new and existing customers.

Post implementation customer reviews – issue identification and resolution.

Complex analysis of customer manifest data to provide information for decision making.

Ad hoc project support – for example supporting in the implementation of a quote/CRM system.

Compilation of commercial statistical information as required.


Accurate and timely processing of quotations.

Quotations and agreement documents produced to a high standard.

Positive feedback from internal stakeholders.

Driving through projects on time to benefit the business.

Skills and experience required

Previous experience in Logistics would be advantageous but not essential.

A Business or Finance qualification (eg CIMA) with the desire to further your career would be desirable.

High levels of attention to detail, numeracy and analytical skills.

The ability to deal with data and to present information in a clear and concise way.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional telephone manner.

Inquisitive with a pro-active approach to problem solving.

A team player who thrives in a fast paced environment, professional, high integrity and a strong can-do attitude.

Ability in Excel up to VBA macro level would be advantageous.
