About this position

Vidu are running a super exciting search for a Commercial Development Executive on behalf of a Leading UK Distribution Company.

Our client have engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search process.

Vidu’s team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.

The Role:

As Commercial Development Executive for our client, your primary focus with be 100% new business generation. You will report directly into the Commerical Director and focus on new business generation along the M4 Corridor.

You will be responsible for selling our clients full array of services and be expected to increase the yield with existing customers, in addition to achieving/exceeding the target yield for all new customers.

Skills and experience required

It’s imperative your have a proven track record of generating new business on behalf of General Haulage, Transport, Distribution Companies, or a Service led business.

Self-motivated is a must. It’s imperative you are very much a hunter and have the desire to make a real difference.

You must possess great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workload, delivering to a deadline with accuracy.

Strong communication and analytic skills are essential, along with being able to demonstrate an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, internally and externally.

You must be proficient in Excel and be able to produce power point presentations to a high standard.

It’s essential you have a full, clean UK Driving Licence.
