Scope of the role:

As Content Specialist, you will report directly into the Head of Sales Development and work closely to implement the broader business strategy to expand our clients global eCommerce delivery business.

There will be the opportunity to contribute to wider marketing initiatives and the development of marketing strategy.

You will craft the messaging and positioning for products.

You will conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand.

Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.


Create product overviews that can be used throughout the business to educate our clients employees and drive business growth.

Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our clients products in the market.

Sales enablement – Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products.

Using analysis of our clients own internal data, including the sales pipeline, develop sales campaigns and proposition and take part in the launch of these campaigns, with the involvement of several different departments in such launches.

Market intelligence – Be the expert on our clients customers, what features are essential for them and can help secure the business; be the expert on your competition and how to rise above them.

Understand the different market sectors our client specialises in (e.g. Fast moving fashion, beauty, health products) and create the right information and collateral to demonstrate how our client is the expert in these fields.

Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy, monthly business review packs and blog posts.

Work closely within the Sales team to understand any complexities, difficulties being faced, or innovation required to drive thought leadership throughout the business and into the wider customer community.

Be across innovations throughout the business, ensuring the developments/innovations are communicated to position the business in a positive and market leading way.

Own our clients strategy and organisation for industry events/hospitality opportunities and customer appearances. Ensuring the internal business is aligned with the approach, return on investment is monitored and sales leads are gained in the most efficient methods with complete customer data.

Skills and experience required

3+ years of B2B marketing content experience.

Experience in developing a written marketing plan, executing plans by leading cross-functional teams, and reporting detailed results to senior management.

Very strong written communication skills.

Experience of writing for all digital platforms.

Strong organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail for multi-tasking and prioritisation of daily tasks.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Positive, self-starter attitude with a desire to exceed expectations.

Comfortable with multi-tasking and able to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.


Knowledge of Adobe CC – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Educated to degree level with a business/marketing/digital qualification Appreciation of brand and design.
