Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Contract Manager to focus on the store delivery initiative for a multi billion turnover global omnichannel retailer, on behalf of a rapidly growing, super tech focused eCommerce distribution business based in the South East of England.

Your Mission:
As Contract Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring contractual compliance and effective management of the delivery initiative. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of contractural, operational and relationship management aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of contracts related to the retail store delivery initiative.
Ensure compliance with contractural terms and conditions, including service level agreements (SLAs) timelines and performance metrics.
Act as the primary point of contact regarding contractural matters.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations.
Collaborate with internal operational teams to align contractural requirements with the day to day delivery operations.
Ensure that operational processes adhere to contractual obligations and deliver the agreed-upon service levels.
Participate in contract negotiations working closely with legal and the business development teams.
Identify opportunities for mutually beneficial adjustments or improvements to existing contracts.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) outlined in contracts.
Regularly analyse and report on the performance of delivery operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Identify and assess potential risk related to contract compliance and delivery operations.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to date documentation related to contracts, amendments, and negotiations.
Ensure that all contractural documentation are organised, accessible and complies with internal and external audit requirements.
Address and resolve any contract-related issues promptly, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
Proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Proven experience in contract management within the logistics or supply chain industry is imperative.
Strong understanding of contract law and negotiation principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-orientated with strong organisational skills.
Familiarity with retail delivery logistics would be advantageous.
Occasional travel in and around Europe will be required.
