Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Customer Service Assistant, on behalf of a rapidly growing eCommerce distribution business.
This is a hybrid role – 1 -2 days a week in the office the rest from home.
£26,000 – £27,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) 25 days holiday plus statutory, pension and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to commence the initial search.
Our team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.
Your Mission:
On a day-to-day basis, you will provide support to customers and the sales team who may need help with various queries, via email or through our clients messaging hub.
You will also be completing reports in Excel to support the sales team and provide customers with shipment data that they need, to be used to as a monitoring tool.
The role requires immense attention to detail, good motivation, strong organisational skills, and for you to be a real team player within a business.
You will also need to be able to think creatively to solve problems, be persistent, eager to learn and have a clear communication style (verbal and written).
Key Responsibilities:
Completing weekly and month reports in Excel.
Closely working between departments, providing support where needed.
Answering emails and messages.
Investigating possible causes of delays.
Proactive monitoring.
Ad hoc duties, when required by your line manager.
Basic working knowledge of Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent telephone and email manner.
Enthusiasm to learn.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
Data analysis.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
