Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a French speaking Digital and Business Transformation Consultant on behalf of a rapidly growing Supply Chain Consultancy. This a remote based role (home working) with regular UK and European travel.

Scope of the role:

Our client are a Cargowise Gold Forwarding partner and they deliver Cargowise implementation projects to freight forwarders in Europe.

This role involves managing and delivering digital and business transformation projects. You will be responsible for analysing the client’s current situation and building a realistic implementation roadmap to deliver the project in accordance with the objectives and deadlines defined with the customer.

Main Responsibilities:

Working with the teams to identify opportunities for improvements in delivery, based on ingredients such as automation, lean, RPA, etc…

Supporting project mobilisation to ensure the teams have the right skills, the technology is set up for the projects requirements and efficient processes are identified and utilised.

Developing new more efficient delivery workflows.

Building the functional operations model with customer’s teams.

Carrying out the role of facilitator in project delivery improvement workshops (Model Design Workshops).

Working closely with clients to help them define their digital and business transformation strategies.

Engaging staff on change programmes and promoting behavioural change.

Building a valuable and realistic implementation roadmap based on the customer’s constraints and the available resources to deliver the project.

Managing the project with all stakeholders.

Coordinating the execution of all technical requirements associated to the project.

Proactively and positively communicate with all stakeholders of the project.

Identifying any critical issue or potential delay that may have an impact on the project delivery objectives.

Training the customer’s users to Cargowise when required.

Skills and experience required

Experience within a freight forwarder as an Import or Export Operations Manager or within a consultancy as a Digital or Business Transformation Consultant.

Highly motivated and energetic approach. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organisation.

Demonstrated aptitude for analytics required.

Ability to understand stakeholder needs and train operational staff.

Functional knowledge or passion in Digital Technology.

Change Management experience.

Result driven individual.

Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and French.

Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.

Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.

Experience working with Project Management Softwares.

Cargowise knowledge is essential.
