Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment on behalf of an extremely dynamic, innovative logistics, business in the search for an E-Commerce Business Development Manager to help increase their market position in The Netherlands and Belgium.

Your mission:

To think strategically and tactically to turn prospects into new customers.

Enthuse customers about new logistics services.

Have a business partner mentality for customers and the management team at the highest level.

Research the market and customer needs and quickly identify growth and sales opportunities and respond appropriately.

Know the market and identify trends, opportunities and developments and respond to them in a creative way.

Translate the needs of the organisation into concrete services.

Research the needs of potential customers within the market.

Work out new sales propositions in accordance with business plans.

Bring in new customers and manage/maintain the relationship with existing customers.

Evaluate the development of new services.

Stimulate continuous improvement of services, so our client continue to meet customer expectations.

Skills and experience required

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Development Manager in E-commerce.

Demonstrated sales and communication skills with good networking skills and an existing and extensive network in the logistics sector.

Experience in professionally approaching Decision Making Units (DMUs) in various market segments.

A goal and results oriented winner mentality, you are proactive and show initiative.

A flexible attitude and an innovative thinking ability.

A good command of the Dutch and English language, in speech and writing.
