Vidu are exclusively representing a global leader in omnichannel commerce technology and operations in the search for a remote based E-commerce Sales Development Director to be an ambassador for them in Germany.
There is an attractive salary, uncapped commission structure, fully expensed car and package on offer with this role in addition to excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
This role would be most suited to a hungry, driven Sales/Business Development professional from within e-commerce, with a proven track record selling B2C and B2B fulfillment, shipping, and/or supply chain solutions looking to step their career up a gear, with a fast paced, extremely innovative logistics business.

Scope of the Role:
You will be responsible for finding new clients for fulfilment, transportation, order management & omnichannel, payment & fraud, and customer care solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
It’s imperative you are a born hunter who can identify and develop new strategic opportunities with existing customers in addition to brand new prospects, based on your international network and know how within e-commerce.
Cultivating new relationships with new prospects, and turning raw concepts into compelling business plans for both parties.
Managing those relationships beyond launch phase and ongoing, and implementing periodic business meetings to build strong and strategic partnerships.
Negotiating commercial terms and conditions with new and existing customers.
You will become a point of reference for our clients business in Germany and will be expected to participate in trade shows, events and conferences.
It goes without saying that you have strong commercial skills and that you bring drive, enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude to the team.
5+ years of experience in a sales/business development position in the e-commerce sector.
You are a born communicator and can adapt yourself to different target groups, and have a proven track record building strong working relationships and partnerships.
Fluent in German and English (other EU languages are a plus)
You have profound knowledge of selling techniques and have experience dealing with long and complex sales cycles.
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
You own your work: Independent, proactive and hands-on with a focus on results. For this you set the right priorities and use a pragmatic approach in combination with a critical mindset.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record influencing at board level.
You show sound judgment & diplomatic capabilities to navigate through confidential and sensitive matters.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages.
