Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an Ecommerce Business Development Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing, extremely innovative global leader in Omnichannel Commerce Technology and Operations.

Our client are looking to add to their talented team of e-commerce fulfilment specialists in Germany and as such, a unique opportunity has arisen for an entrepreneurial, solution focused sales professional to join their team. This is a super varied role as our client are currently building out their growth plan and strategy, therefore with this role you are not limited to engaging with clients in Germany, you can engage with clients on a global scale.

Scope of the Role:

As Ecommerce Business Development Manager you will be responsible for finding new clients for fulfilment and transportation in Germany.

Your Mission:

Generating new contract logistics revenue by sourcing new customers that require warehousing and distribution services.

Taking ownership, creating and executing a personal sales strategy to secure new business.

Keep up with new industry trends and developments.

Build and maintain relationships with relevant industry stakeholders.

Putting our client on the map in Poland by leaving your footprint through international client relationships. Engaging with C-level board members to create new business and collaborations.

Executing business plans through identifying, qualifying and attaining new business wins to exceed sales and revenue goals.

Occasional travel to other European entities may be required.

Skills and experience required

First hand sales experience and the ability to bring drive, enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude to the team.

8+ years relevant sales experience ideally within beauty, fashion, cosmetics & health care or contract logistics.

Demonstrable sales track record with fast moving, high growth Internet retailers.

Successful client collaborations from EU500K to upwards of EU5M annual contract value.

Proficient networker. Ability to develop and leverage relationships with senior industry leaders and key influencers.

Good understanding of logistic processes. Understanding of Total Cost of Ownership across the full supply chain for an Internet Retailer.

The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and to run several business projects simultaneously.

Determination and effectiveness in solving problems and finding creative solutions.

Team player with the ability to also work well autonomosly.

Excellent communication abilities. Strong command of English.

Ability to focus daily on opening doors and following up with leads to build and maintain a balanced pipeline.
