Scope of the Role:

As Strategic Product Manager you will be an expert in your field by having the knowledge of the Logistics industry specifically within sustainable packing and Ecommerce products. The strategic purpose of the role is to work with both internal functions and external customers to understand Ecommerce and to ensure that our client in the UK is operationally and commercially ready to deal with the future of Ecommerce.

You will be expected to manage a variety of product portfolio’s whilst using market insights and data to forecast future trends and development opportunities. As the Strategic Product Manager you will have the ability to build and nurture both internal and external relationships through successful networking to ensure on-going and up to date knowledge of overall performance and business roadmaps resulting in a first class customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

Ownership of Ecommerce Product Portfolio.

Support the development of Product Roadmaps and Backlogs, using external and internal insights, ideation, prototyping and customer feedback & testing.

Contribute to the development of business cases in support of roadmap activities.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to refine priorities, features and product requirements.

Promote the best customer and business experiences (based on insights) across your areas of ownership, identifying and enhancing key customer journeys and business processes.

Identify challenges and provide fast and innovative solutions.

Instigate and facilitate internal meetings with key stakeholders nationally and internationally.

Work closely with the sales teams and customers to ensure projects are managed effectively.

Work with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external.

Skills and experience required

An understanding of E-commerce solutions is imperative.

A proven track record creating mind maps, user journeys, process flows and project planners (cross-functional)

Experience working on large project roll-outs/implementations.

Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Knowledge of the full development life cycle.

Experience with UX/CX.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build and nurture relationships.

Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organisational skills.

Experience in reporting to Senior Management Teams.

Relevant experience of working with data and analytics.

Bachelor’s Degree, related field or equivalent experience is essential.
