Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Head of Marketing on behalf of a rapidly growing, extremely innovative logistics business.

Your Mission:

Reporting directly into the CCO you will be managing a team of 2 Marketing Managers and will be responsible for the marketing strategy for our clients group of companies across Europe.

You will be tasked with generating awareness of our clients brand and developing a strategy to support business growth with the right suite of martech and tools and channels in place.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the complete marketing strategy for the entire group of companies across Europe. The priorities of the role will be to develop and deliver three key critical elements of the marketing strategy, supporting with the company’s onward growth.

The management of performance-driven marketing campaigns, aimed at supporting the organic sales strategy and growing market share across key industries.

Communicating with Senior Management about existing and new marketing activities.

Taking ownership of our client’s brand strategy, ensuring a consistent brand across the entire group of companies.

Managing and creating appropriate content for a variety of channels.

The delivery of a new company website.

The development and implementation of a strategic content strategy, designed to boost brand awareness and to build on our clients market presence.

Work with your direct team (and agency support, as needed) on the planning and execution of all supporting social, news editorial and thought-leadership content.

Measuring marketing outcomes to increase the efficiency and return on investment of all marketing activities.

Track key market trends, to identify new opportunities and define new key messages as and when required.

Ensure our clients tone of voice and messaging is always resonating with their audience and that they are perceived by clients and prospects in accordance to their company identity and core values.

Monitor performance of content and inform internal departments on the productivity of all marketing campaigns and the appetite in the wider market.

Internal brand vision and deployment, with support from your team.

Work with the external creative teams to lead the creative vision across all assets.

Act as the central point of contact for all communications enquiries and crisis communications.

Be a champion for the business in all external facing media and communications.

Line manage two direct reports, including development and training.

Key Accountabilities:

CVP – develop strategic positioning, purpose statement, message matrix by persona.

Lead generation programme.

Client feedback programme.

Website – lead development project inc. languages and SEO.

PR and awareness build – define and set objectives for UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain and Portugal.

Skills and experience required

Marketing experience – Experience at relevant level with the ability to invoke change and best practice.

Resourcefulness – A composite of positivity, energy, passion and persistence wrapped into one. It’s about getting over, around or through barriers to get the job done.

Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills adopting an appropriate approach for the target audience. With an engaging style you will be able to manage people supportively while driving a high level of performance.
