About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an energetic, people focused HR Specialist, on behalf of a rapidly growing Supply Chain Management company.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search process.

Our client are open to appointing someone on a part time or full time basis with this role.

Scope of the role:

Reporting directly into the HR Manager you will be the go to and main point of contact for all employees in The Netherlands.

Main Responsibilities:

Setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records.

Preparing HR reports, and ensuring HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

Creating and placing job posts, cooperating in the hiring process and interviewing applicants.

Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.

Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.

Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed.

Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval.

Staying up-to-date and complying with changes in employment legislation.

Administering the attendance system, establishing new hire accounts, deactivating separated accounts.

Maintaining attendance records.

Administering health and life insurance programs.

Administering on-the-job training programs.

Maintaining records of employee participation in all training and development programs.

Implementing training and development plans.

Planning quarterly and annual performance review sessions.

Maintaining accident records.

Skills and experience required

An energetic people person with proven experience in a HR field (2-3 years)

Knowledge of employment legislation.

Excellent eye for detail and the ability to pick up on important information in case files.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced business.

Reporting and Analysis Skills.

Familiar with full cycle recruiting.

Ability to multi task and prioritise.

Intermediate Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Experience working in a complex multi-cultural organisation.

English Language: Advanced (You will also be in contact with CZE and German colleagues)

CIPD or equivalent would be advantageous.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self reliant with the ability to work at pace.

An empathetic person with good problem solving abilities.
