Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an experienced Hubspot Strategist to support the team in creating and executing sales, and marketing campaigns in the UK sameday market.

Our client have invested in best-in-class tools including Hubspot and Cognism and are now looking for a digital marketing guru with an innovative mindset, experience working for a hubspot business and experience in: Paid Social, PPC, Conversion Optimisation, Analytics and SEO strategies to assist the Managment team in taking the business to the next level!

£40,000 – £50,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) KPI related bonus structure, package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:

Opportunity to lead – Ultimately, the brief is yours to generate B2B customer interest to deliver the revenue targets we set as a business and in that we expect this to be a brief that the candidate will own responsibility for in full. You will own the CRM strategy, utilising analytics, and insights to shape it with a particular focus on what activity is delivering the best engagement and actions amongst the target audience.

Strategic Input – Working with the CEO, Commercial Director and Head of Software Engineering, to translate our clients business plan and strategy into a 12–24 month sales and marketing project plan. Regularly measure and report to the leadership team on the performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Creative Narrative Input – Working with the content team to develop key messaging strategies and implementation to best represent the brand to key stakeholder groups.

Own the platforms – Further configuration and optimisation of Hubspot and Cognism, as core sales and marketing applications. You will run the lead generation campaigns, contributing to wider marketing activities, managing, analysing, and reporting on data and ensuring the smooth running of HubSpot marketing automation.

Measure Success – Hubspot CRM management and growth marketing strategies, leveraging workflows and automations to develop marketing funnels that lead to sales. You will report on campaign performance to continue producing the best possible results for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement, deliver, manage and report on CRM strategies across the company.

Manage all customer communication journeys including transactional, engagement and automation.

Create customer segmentation using quantitative and qualitative data.

Manage the build, scheduling and send of all customer email activities. Manage the day-to-day use of the email broadcasting tool to deliver email and other channel marketing to the customer base.

Drive the customer acquisition and communication strategy by turning data analysis into actionable insights to inform content automation strategies.

Manage and develop the testing and optimisation plansReport: Metrics, and analysis on ROI across all platforms.

Plan and develop innovative and targeted nurturing campaigns that drive sales opportunities within our clients contact base.

Report effectiveness against key retention metrics including engagement, usage, and retention rates.

Act as the point / conduit between the CEO, Sales and the Demand Generation partners to understand the insights that will inform campaign targets.

Updating APIs and data flows into CRM tools.

Plan, build and execute campaigns and ensure proper setup of landing pages, all campaign assets, tracking and measurement of results.

Skills and experience required

At least 5 years experience, managing digital marketing across paid and performance channels.

Specialism in B2B Hubspot Marketing.

The ability to understand and analyse data.

A sound understanding of marketing automation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timeline.

Proficiency in managing and tracking effectiveness of campaigns via Google Analytics.

Creative and analytical mindset.

Amazing presentation skills.


Experience working for a HubSpot business.

Knowledge of marketing attribution and lead processing.

Experience In: Paid Social, PPC, Conversion Optimisation, Analytics, SEO strategies.

A can-do approach with a readiness to learn and get out of your comfort zone.

The ability to think out-of-the-box and solve problems.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Previous experience within a similar role.
