Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an Import/Export Operator to be based in Manchester, on behalf of a rapidly growing, privately owned logistics business.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to commence the initial search.

£26,000 – £30,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus bonus scheme, package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling customer shipments on all modes.
Updating systems with all information received from suppliers and customers including documentation and shipment updates on email and through Logitude.
Dealing with customers and suppliers through a range of communication channels.
Offer support to other departments e.g. sales.
Ability to prepare quotes and shipments documents as required.
Handle complaints and queries.
Prepare invoices from the system.
Flexibility to assist with jobs outside of your day to day role.
Previous import/export experience is essential.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft knowledge.
Strong customer service skills.
Good communicator.
Organised with the ability to work off your own initiative.
Good level of IT knowledge.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Friendly and calm manner.
