About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an Inside Sales Executive to be based out of Accrington on behalf of a rapidly growing, technology focused Shipping service provider. This is a fundamental role that has been created by our client to assist them in achieving their ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Basic salary is £28,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience) plus a KPI related commission scheme, package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Scope of the role:

To support the generation of revenue and identify and qualify opportunities for new business
 from an extensive portfolio of existing customers.

Build close and effective working relationships with customers
.


Qualify inbound opportunities in line with company policy.

Build/Manage and Maintain an ongoing pipeline of prospective customers and call lists.


Main Responsibilities:


Make quality new prospect appointments across a range of spends and customers.

Together with the Inside Sales Team, consistently achieve target
.

Liaise with relevant departments to ensure prospects expectations are always exceeded
.

Manage your own pipeline of prospects to ensure a constant flow of new business opportunities.

Qualify, progress and close inbound sales enquiries.

Develop short, medium and long term plans to achieve targets
.

Develop relationships with senior level contacts internal and external
.

Measures:

Actual verified clients converted.

Various KPI’s such as call volumes, and wins or similar set out within a Monthly/Quarterly 1-2-1 framework.

Revenue growth.

Skills and experience required

Proven inside sales experience within either Parcels/Pallets /Logistics/Supply Chain is desirable, alternatively experience working in a service based business.

Strong sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, networking).


Experience working with a CRM – (HubSpot would be desirable but not essential)

Detailed understanding of sales process and demonstration of world-class sales rigour, hunger and determination.


Ability to work well autonomously in addition to being a good team player.

A positive attitude with consistent drive and energy.

Excellent time management skills

Proven track record of over achieving quota.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
.

Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.

Problem solving abilities; able to facilitate discussions
.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft i.e. Excel, Word, Email, Access and PowerPoint
