Our client is a Logistics and Supply Chain Consultancy registered in London, operating Globally.
They are Logistics Experts commitment to excellence, integrity and flexibility combined with their unique hands-on approach.
They provide logistics consultancy services to manufacturers – industrial sectors such as retail, e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, aerospace or energy – and digital sales and marketing solutions to medium-sized logistics service providers – 3PL’s, freight forwarders, carriers, logistics technology firms.
Due to an exceptionally strong finish to their last financial year, our client are now looking to appoint an Inside Sales Executive to join their fast paced team in Central London.
The role involves cold calling and prospecting new potential customers (Business to Business) via phone, email and social media platforms.
You will be responsible for building a valuable sales pipeline, qualifying prospects, understanding customers needs and closing deals.
This position will play a fundamental role in achieving our clients ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
Duties and responsibilities:
Build a valuable and qualified sales pipeline with identified customer projects, key players, qualified contacts and related business opportunities within your assigned territory (the UK).
Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails and social selling.
New customers prospecting (“hunting” and solution selling are compulsory).
Comfortable making multiple calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Ensuring you can route qualified opportunities to share with the Managing Director for further development and closure when required.
Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly quotas.
Maintain and keep the company’s CRM accurate and up to date daily.
2+ years’ experience within a 3PL or Freight Forwarder as an Inside Sales Executive is imperative.
A motivated, energetic, results driven individual with the confidence to close deals.
A confident phone manner is essential.
A proven track record of making cold calls to generate new clients.
Proven Inside Sales experience with a track record of success in meeting sales goals is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and generate the appropriate solution: strong listening and presentation skills are required.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
Experience working with CRM (Pipedrive – desirable).
