Vidu is working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an interim CFO to provide senior financial leadership across a diverse platform, on behalf of a rapidly growing logistics business in Mainz – Germany.
This is a strategic group-level role requiring a technically strong CFO who can take accountability for financial leadership and be very hands on.
3 month fixed term contract – €45,000 – €60,000 (dependent on experience)

Your Mission:
As Interim CFO, you will be hired on a fixed term, 3-month contact to provide immediate stability, strategic guidance, and hands-on management during a high-growth phase for our client.
Your focus will be on a deep dive into the accounting function, cash flow management, upgrading finance functions and advising the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Leadership: Partner with the Country Manager and board to drive performance, manage/mitigate risk, and provide financial insights.
Cash Flow & Financial Control: Stabilise cash positions, manage working capital, and enhance forecasting accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Produce accurate management and statutory accounts; manage audit processes and investor reporting.
Board & Stakeholder Management: Communicate financial health to board members and partners.
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent (A background in Forensic Accounting would be highly desirable)
Proven, prior experience as a CFO, Group Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
Strong on process, governance, controls & compliance.
Experienced in driving cash flow, working capital & reporting.
Strong analytical, leadership, and crisis management skills – capable of operating at pace.
Strong technical finance background with the ability to lead and challenge.
Highly adaptable, proactive, and commercially astute.
