Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an IT Integration Specialist on behalf of a rapidly growing eCommerce distribution business in Hayes.
Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working (1-2 days in the office desired)
£38,000 – £40,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus professional development and training programs, pension plan, healthcare benefits, employee wellness schemes, 25 days holiday plus statutory.

Your Mission:
Reporting to the UK Sales Director, you will be focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless integration
between internal IT systems and third-party logistics technologies to ensure operational efficiency, data integrity, and real-time visibility across our clients supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) and third-party logistics platforms.
Configure, test, and deploy APIs, middleware, EDI, and web services to facilitate data exchange.
Support the Sales Team in on boarding customers via our existing API’s or the customers Transport Administration systems (TA Systems) or middleware.
Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolution to minimise disruptions in operations.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and logistics teams to understand business processes and translate requirements into technical integration solutions.
Monitor system performance, data flows, and alerts to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Document integration architecture, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Support system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements, especially for sensitive logistics data.
Work with the International Group team on UK roll outs and Group wide role outs of new IT tools and integrations.
Ideally a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) with system integration in logistics, supply chain, or operations environments.
Strong knowledge of integration technologies: APIs, REST/SOAP web services, EDI, XML/JSON, middleware platforms.
Experience with enterprise systems such as D365, ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
Proficient in scripting and programming languages relevant for automation (Python, Java, SQL).
Understanding of logistics processes including warehousing, distribution, transportation management, and order fulfilment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and well as part of cross-functional teams.
Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of data transformation and mapping tools.
Familiarity with real-time tracking systems and IoT devices in logistics.
Strong knowledge and understanding of AI and how to use to benefit the role.
