About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Key Account Manager in The Benelux Region, on behalf of a rapidly growing, super technology focused, European Logistics business.

€55,000 – €70,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus car allowance, KPI related bonus structure, package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:

As Key Account Manager, you will play a vital role in developing a Strategic & Key Account customer portfolio, utilising our clients personalised logistics solutions and products.

This role will be field based, and you will be tasked with achieving your retention and SoW growth target through conversion of your own client development plans, with a robust lead qualification process to build a strong and resilient pipeline.

Utilising your skills and experience in consultative selling, you will work closely with key decision makers to convert leads into new revenue flows.

You will also work on growing your assigned customer portfolio through development of new lanes/services and establishing share of wallet knowledge by customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Oversee the management of major accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.

Business Development:
Proactively seek new business opportunities and develop a robust pipeline.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business development initiatives.
Attend industry events and conferences to enhance the company’s market presence.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor sales performance metrics of the portfolio and analyse data to inform decision- making.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.

Skills and experience required

Upwards of 3 years experience generating and developing new business opportunities within parcel distribution, freight forwarding or supply chain.

Strong knowledge of the Benelux market and logistics industry trends.

Native Dutch, fluent in English.

Ambitious and driven with a proven track record of success in consultative selling.

Effectively gather and use market/
client intelligence.

Ability to act as an initial single point of contact with clients.

Highly autonomous with a positive “can do” attitude.

Bright and articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Sharp commercial acumen.

Ability to build strong internal relationships within the extended operations team.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Be fully flexible on travel 1-2 days a week – with a full clean driving license.
