Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Key Account Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing, technology focused eCommerce distribution business.
Circa £35,000-£38,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus £6,000 per year car allowance, KPI related bonus structure, package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
This role would be suited to an Account Manager ready to step their career up a gear or a Key Account Manager ready for change and a new environment.

Scope of the Role:
You will be responsible for the up-sell, value-add and retention of a portfolio of key accounts. Building and maintaining long term relationships and maximising new revenue streams. You will be dedicated to growing the business and facilitating smoother connections between clients and internal executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Educating customers about our clients business solutions.
Analysing consumer needs and developing innovative solutions.
Reaching out to existing accounts and enquire about their changing needs or additional opportunities.
Setting and achieving retention goals for assigned accounts.
Practise effective sales management techniques.
Liaising with clients who express concerns, complaints or issues.
Owning the governance around the relationship with assigned clients, ensuring an open, trusting and productive relationship.
Working effectively with colleagues across all areas of the business and your clients’ businesses.
Appropriately communicating development progress and any issues internally and with clients.
Managing the client’s expectations regarding onboarding new services.
Identifying opportunities to develop accounts by presenting innovative development opportunities and plans to deliver on them.
Working alongside the Sales Director as an ongoing point of contact for your client and Global management team.
Ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and that reviews are held regularly to ensure contractual compliance.
Previous Account Management/Key Account Management experience within Cross border, eCommerce, courier and/or the logistics industry.
Solutions focused and passionate about growing existing accounts, with the ability to quickly identify roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business.
Possess an innovative mindset with the ability to suggest tailored solutions to account management problems.
Good relationship builder and communicator.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to multi task and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
PC literate with the ability to pick up and understand the technical platforms and processes used by the business.
Driving license.
