About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Key Account Support Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing eCommerce distribution business.

This role would be most suited to a structured, organised, customer focused and driven service professional, who is comfortable managing a small team and who loves the sound of helping our client to develop and grow their existing account portfolio’s.

Circa £30,000 – £35,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:

To run our clients Customer Service Team. You will be responsible for helping to retain and grow their customer base focusing on medium to large accounts. You will play a vital role in this rapidly expanding organization, so it’s imperative you are used to working in fast paced, agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the department X2 heads as direct reports.

Support the Key Account advisors in managing customer queries.

Drive innovation and process improvement in our clients UK business.

Support in developing and on boarding a new Customer Services system.

Think creatively around how our client can support and resolve their customers queries and concerns.

Attend teams calls internally and externally with customers and internal stakeholders to support the Sales Team.

Support the Sales Team in the ongoing management and development of their key customers and onboarding of new customers.

Interrogate service performance and produce reporting for their customers.

Create measurements to help efficiently manage customer queries and monitor activity in the department.

Skills and experience required

Minimum of 2 years sales experience, ideally within logistics or e-commerce with a focus on export.

A proven track record of high achievement.

High activity level and business proficiency.

Results driven and comfortable making decisions.

Strong networker with excellent customer facing skills.

Proven track record creating and building relationships and partnerships.

Ability to communicate effectively with external customers and external stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.

Ability to work on your own initiative and be comfortable in all sales responsibilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Office.

University degree is desirable but not essential.

Driver’s license – (maximum of 3 points)
