About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Lead Operational Project Coordinator – Innovation and Development on behalf of a fast-growing tech start-up, who are looking for a confident outgoing individual to join their Operations team in London and support their nationwide growth.

This role will be office based in Soho 2 to 3 times a week with the flexibility to work from home the other days.

If you love all things techy, have experience being the operational link between sales and commercial teams and you like the sound of joining a super innovative logistics business offering sustainable end-to-end and last-mile delivery solutions in the UK and Europe, this role will be right up your street.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search.

Our team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating timelines within the operations team for the UK expansion roadmap.

Creating flow and responsibility documents for efficient workings within the team.

Ensuring projects are completed and on schedule as per commercial agreements.

Liaising and communicating with third parties in relation to internal developments such as fleet and hub rollout.

Ensuring implementation of policies and practices.

Understand our product and technical documentation and roadmaps, with the ability to create operational solutions for the commercial team.

Being able to play a crucial role in the operational service onboarding of new and existing clients.

Skills and experience required

Operational experience in parcel, mail, express, logistics or material management operations is essential.

Experience sorting and scanning parcels then picking groups of packages to hand off to the courier.

Confidence in finding solutions and taking decisions in real-time.

Resilient with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Tech-ready and a fast learner, ready to adapt and develop.

Ability to multi-task and prioritise.

Proactive in managing the workload.

Flexibility in your mindset to handle the unexpected.
