Scope of the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the marketing mix for our clients Document Exchange and Mail business unit in order to drive profitable revenue growth and retain market share.
You will be responsible for the planning, management and pricing of our clients Document Exchange & Mail products, taking guidance from the Director and members of the Document Exchange & Mail management team in addition to developing and managing the product roadmaps.
Main Responsibilities:
Establish clear product propositions for the Document Exchange and Mail services, determining the target markets.
Drive the achievement of the revenue plans by working with Sales to support new business opportunities.
Understand, monitor and continually improve the customer experience from sign-up to ordering consumables.
Work with the sales teams to identify and develop new product/service opportunities which meet the needs of our clients customers.
Ensure marketing collateral e.g. sales presentations, case studies & tools are available to support the service from launch through lifecycle.
Update and inform Sales of all developments to the service, including competitor activity, through all appropriate channels.
Conduct industry and competitive research to ensure our client have a good understanding of their competitiveness and target markets and recommend strategies and policies to maximise their competitive position in the Document Exchange and Mail markets.
Provide training to all colleagues on the products, renewals process and standards and ethics within the business unit.
Facilitate marketing campaigns to maintain current and acquire new business-to-business accounts. These campaigns may include digital marketing (web, mobile, social media, direct marketing, affiliate partnerships, advertising/press, trade shows/events and PR.
Support and develop third party relationships. Identifying affinity partnership opportunities and ensuring that these are well planned to deliver improved business positioning and contribute to growth and increased profitability.
Responsible for the CRM system, Workbooks, Workbooks-Spotler marketing automation to drive communication to prospects and customers, internal adoption and opportunities to further enhance the application (eg retiring Romulus and migrating to WB)
Internal communications – Champion the division across the wider business.
Event and campaign management to drive interest in our clients business from new and existing customers.
Support the team in Ireland with marketing activity as and when required.
KPI’s:
Support Sales in the development of services that meet our clients customers’ needs and are aligned with the strategic objectives of the business.
Create acquisition and retention campaigns that support the targets of the Sales teams.
Through marketing campaigns, assists the sales team to achieve their target.
Delivers projects and work programme tasks on time.
Be a key and proactive member of the management team that delivers the annual P&L.
Ensure Marketing spend is in line with budget.
A background in business-to-business marketing.
Experience within a service-based organisation or other B2B industry servicing SME and Corporate markets.
Experience in applying analytical skills to solve business issues including product development, pricing and profitability, and operational issues.
A reputation for high quality project management.
Experience in developing and managing changes in an established organisation.
Degree level & previous relevant experience would be desirable.
A team player, able to take a flexible approach in working with the team to deliver products and campaigns.
Commercially aware with proven experience delivering profitable products and services.
Credibility at senior level and ability to communicate at all levels.
Proven analytical skills.
Proven project management skills.
High energy levels and enthusiasm.
