Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an entrepreneurial National Business Development Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing, extremely innovative logistics business who offer solutions in fulfilment, warehousing, and cross-border solutions.

£60,000-£65,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus car allowance, uncapped commission structure, benefits package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:

As Business Development Manager, you will support our client to drive revenue growth through acquisition of new customers. You will sell third-party logistic products including but not limited to warehouse space and end to end logistic solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will have a high degree of autonomy. Our clients business offering is continually evolving to cover a wider set of supply chain business challenges, this role would be well suited to an adaptable person with a growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute a strategic sales plan for markets and solutions to meet revenue goals.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with your client base, focusing on expansion and customer retention.

Attending conferences and establishing necessary partnerships to secure new business.

Develop and maintain high level knowledge on our clients solutions.

Present results and complete accurate forecasting of the business to the Sales Director.

Work with customers and internal teams such as Marketing to develop and deliver program proposals that meet the customers’ specific needs.

Skills and experience required

4+ years sales experience with a logistics background. Proven track record of success selling e-fulfillment, fulfillment, warehousing/distribution. Proven track record of increasing revenue.

Ability to present complex topics to Supply Chain/Procurement/Finance/Compliance/IT leaders.High-level communication in executive summaries/RFPs/internal projects/customer meetings/etc.Strong analytical skills and ability to unstick customer and internal situations.

Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple priorities. Driven and adaptable. As an evolving company you will need to handle very diverse situations.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Bachelor’s degree or compensatory experience would be desirable but not compulsory.
