Vidu is working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an Operations Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) business in Rotherham.
Circa £45,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus benefits package.

Your Mission:
To lead the day-to-day running of our clients IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) operation in Rotherham. The successful candidate will oversee collections, secure data destruction, testing, refurbishment, resale, recycling and reporting while leading operational teams and be responsible for driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing daily ITAD operations and ensuring customer SLAs are achieved, in addition to organisational effectiveness within the operations department and for providing leadership.
Perform performance reviews with the operations team and maintain communication with the COO.
Identify any operational training needs and have regular dialogue with the COO to implement training, mentoring and appropriate qualifications when required.
Maintain compliance with WEEE, GDPR, Health & Safety and ISO management systems.
Coordinate logistics, stock control and warehouse operations.
Support business objectives and implement any changes within the operations team to align with current goals and company strategies.
Follow, champion and lead by example on all Company Standard Operating Procedures.
Oversee goods receiving, auditing, data sanitisation, testing, refurbishment, resale and recycling.
Take an analytical approach, alongside logical and practical methods, to fine tune operational processes and their effectiveness for continuous improvement.
Conduct Monthly Meetings to discuss performance, priorities and escalate any concerns.
Take a very proactive approach to the operational workflow, lead peak planning and actively communicate with staff to support and assist them.
Delegate work to make sure there is a fair split amongst the team to ensure effective production throughout the operation.
Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets to support operational growth.
Drive initiatives in the operations team to improve efficiencies and contribute to long term operational excellence.
Manage and take ownership of Operations KPIs; implement and drive throughout the business to achieve Operational targets.
Lead, motivate and develop warehouse, production and technical teams.
Manage operational budgets, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support customer relationships and operational reporting.

Experience within ITAD, electronics refurbishment, logistics or manufacturing.
Knowledge of IT hardware, testing, grading and data sanitisation would be desirable.

Willingness to undergo an Enhances DBS check.
