Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Quality & Service Assurance Senior Specialist on behalf of a globally renowned parcel delivery business.

This will be an exciting and challenging role, offering you scope to develop and shape the position, aligning to the department’s growth strategy.

Ideally, our client require someone with experience in the end-to-end global carrier industry, but equally the role will suit any persons with a good understanding of parcel distribution and a personal desire to progress within the sector.

Scope of the Role:

This is a newly created role with our client and has been created to support the growing demands of their global operations network, supporting end-to-end network planning and daily performance management. This role will take an active lead in scoping and designing new delivery solutions within the business, with a primary focus on enabling decision making through reporting and analytics.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead on the production of daily analytics and reporting in areas such as network performance and forecasting, issuing recommendations & corrective actions where applicable.

Proactively identify focus areas for Operations to support continuous improvement activity.

Support relationships with suppliers/partners, attending regular review meetings.

Manage and coordinate cross functional activities to support large scale bespoke UK to US logistics solution.

Compile, monitor and report on service level KPIs.

Quantify service risks and proactively investigate failure.

Seek to identify, validate, and implement operational efficiencies (time and/or cost focused)

Support new initiative roll out, collaborating with wider business teams as either stakeholder or PM where required.

Support management with cross functional activities to enable global logistics solutions in areas such as –
o Operational planning
o Solution construct and ongoing support

Aid in the validation and implementation of operational efficiencies.

Skills and experience required

Previous experience of working with 3PL providers alongside multiple Carriers, or within a retail environment managing multi carrier strategies.

Knowledge and experience of global carrier market solutions, ideally in the ecommerce sector.

Detailed and thorough analytical mindset.

Ability to adapt to rapid changeStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Knowledge & experience of forecasting processes.
