Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment on behalf of a rapidly growing Logistics Provider in the search for a Regional Account Manager.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search process.

Our team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.

Role:

To manage profitably and retain our clients customers on a regional basis. This role will require strong customer service and communication skills and you must be able to work with clients across multiple roles, from board to warehouse teams.

You will be expected to represent our client professionally at all times and ensure that their customers have a ‘best in class’ on-boarding and customer service experience.

You will be tasked with managing the customer experience and expectations and to continually review their warehouse/operational environments and align our clients solutions to demonstrate cost/service improvements.

Accountabilities:

Demonstrate strong communication and management skills.

Develop a strong and profitable customer base across key sectors/verticals.

Deliver growth and profit targets across all our clients propositions within existing customers, continually exploring new income opportunities.

Deliver growth and margin targets, in line with personal and company forecasts.

Work constructively and proactively with all our clients locations and colleagues.

Report and manage robust client growth forecasts and budgets.

Support product/proposition/partner development.

Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

Deliver retention and profitable growth from our clients existing customers in line with personal and business targets.

Achieve profit margins in line with personal and business targets.

Understand how to review/analyse existing customers warehouse & operating environments and establish where our client can add value and drive customer and cost benefits.

Work closely with all colleagues to identify and on-board quality income.

Updating and managing all reporting tools, such as CRM.

Ensure smooth on-boarding for new business clients.

Support retention successful on-boarding of new clients, where required.

Collate market intel and report back on competitor activity.

Continually look for new market opportunities for our clients products and services.

Skills and experience required

Proven account development and retention experience within International B-C/B-B Carrier, Freight, 3PL, Pallet, Freight Forwarding, 4PL experience.

Have experience of Account Management across multiple services, from Parcels, Freight Forwarding, 3PL’s, International, Full Loads, Pallets, Same Day, Sea Freight.

An understanding of carrier management platforms/multi carrier platforms, supply-chain technology.

A proven track record of delivering profitable long-term relationships.

Strong presentational skills.

Experienced in managing client reporting through platforms such as CRM.

Strong excel and word skills.

Experienced in presenting to senior management teams and leadership teams.

Capable of selling multiple propositions.

Demonstrate strong team ethics.

Be a strong communicator.
