Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Sales Director on behalf of an extremely innovative, forward thinking eCommerce distribution business.

Your Mission:

Reporting directly into the Managing Director, the scope of this role is to achieve commercial growth targets set out in the company budget through own efforts and effective management of the Sales/Business Development team.

Build, direct and motivate the Sales/Business Development team to successful achievement of individual development targets and overall team targets as specified in company budget.

Develop personal sales pipeline and achieve personal sales target as specified in company budget.

Set out sales strategy to achieve KPI’s and targets set out in the business plan.

Support the sales team in client visits with knowledge, integrity, and authority.

Drive business development in conjunction with key overseas partners.

Promote and sell our clients product offering to secure new clients.

Plan and implement new business launch programmes.

Promote our client at events and take up speaking opportunities to generate brand awareness.

Set and monitor Profitable growth targets for the Team.

Drive use of social media within the sales and marketing team to promote services and products and engage with prospects.

Develop marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness.

Refine and improve development processes across the development team.

Report all development activity to the Board.

At all times represent and act in the best interest of the company, the shareholders, and the employees.

Complete other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by the Managing Director.

Determine and agree the company’s strategic objectives and policies alongside the Managing Director.

Monitor progress towards achieving the objectives and policies.

Skills and experience required

This is a pivotal role to our client’s business, therefore, it’s imperative you can demonstrate a successful track record in developing new business and new routes to market, launching new services and solutions and that you have a proven track record of developing, mentoring, and motivating high performing sales, business development and marketing teams.

Sound knowledge of International Cross border and eCommerce distribution.

Strong in analysis and reporting.

Strategic thinker.

Positive negotiation skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good working knowledge of digital marketing.

Strong collaboration skills.

Au fait with the below levels of Communication:
Monthly review meetings with your direct reports.

Managing regular companywide development meetings to motivate, monitor and maintain development progress.

Attending meetings with prospects, clients, partners, and suppliers as required.

Holding weekly and quarterly one to one meeting with all direct reports.

Holding quarterly planning meetings with MD and other meetings as required.
