About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for an individual with a proven track record of generating pure new business for a leading Supply Chain Management company in the Netherlands.

We have flexibility to increase the basic salary to 55,000 euros for an exceptional hunter of new business.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search process.

Scope of the role:

Acquisition of new customers.

Identifying market potential by qualifying accounts.

Initiating the sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.

Generating new business using your own network.

Closing sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.

Expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services; developing new applications.

Developing positive relationships with our clients customers.

Acting as the main point of contact and handling customers’ individual needs.

Contributing information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.

Recommending new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled and suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Accomplishing marketing and the organisations mission by completing related results as needed.

Reporting on the status of accounts and transactions.

Skills and experience required

A proven track record selling: Transportation, Warehousing and creating tailor made supply chain solutions for customers.

Excellent working knowledge of the logistics market in the Netherlands.

Th ability to create sales opportunities outside of the Netherlands, mainly Western Europe.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

A hunger and desire to generate and secure new business.

Strong negotiation skills.

Good IT Skills.

Experience of Territory Management would be advantageous.
