Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment on behalf of a leading European provider of multimodal transport solutions and logistics services, in the search for a results-oriented Sales Manager with a passion for hunting, who is ready to take their career to new heights in the dynamic and rewarding environment of a leading logistics company.

€100,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) fully expensed company car, uncapped commission structure, package and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:

You will be responsible for generating new profitable business across all products and thereby delivering on the strategic objectives and targets to generate company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage lead generation by creating high quality new business leads.

Successfully convert your new business leads to opportunities that supports our clients asset network and their logistics capabilities.

Ensure a healthy sales pipeline for new business customers.

Involve and align with all relevant internal stakeholders during the sales process.

Design, propose and negotiate profitable contracts.

Secure new profitable business.

Support on the successful implementation of new contracts through handover/implementation.

Skills and experience required

6+ years’ experience in a Sales Manager role in: transport, logistics or maritime.

Good command of the English language.

Ability to work well autonomously.

Commercial and service-minded.

Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

A structured and analytical approach to tasks.

Accuracy around numbers.

Can work with a sense of urgency.

Result oriented.

Quality–driven.

Credible and trustworthy.

Educated to a minimum of Bachelor level or equivalent (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration) would be desirable.
