Vidu are running an exciting assignment in the search for 10 Sales Managers based Nationally on behalf of one of the UK’s leading Distribution Companies.
Our client have engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search process.

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, these roles will support a specific, or small number of our clients depots, in ensuring they win and retain profitable local business, in line with regional and national budgets and operational requirements. These roles require strict adherence to the companies pricing and commercial policy.
Key Accountabilities:
To work with the local management team in identifying compatible and profitable new business with each location alongside working with local operational teams to identify capacity at route level, ensuring all routes operate profitably.
Working as part of the broader regional team, in ensuring the region as well as all local locations meet their new business targets.
Technical Capabilities:
Acumen: To have a strong commercial understanding including budget and P&L planning.
Negotiation: To be able to negotiate profitable and sustainable long term contracts, in line with commercial and operational policies.
Stakeholder Management: To work closely and with fellow colleagues across a number of stakeholders within the network and Group.
Customer Relationships/Planning: Be capable of planning and managing territories effectively and in line with local requirements.
Dynamic, driven, highly motivated candidates who can deliver on our clients ambitious growth targets.
Extensive experience within either the Parcels/Logistics/Freight industry, Retail/Distribution or a service based business.
A proven track record of exceeding new business targets, whilst excelling at customer retention through professional account management, development and planning skills.
Be capable of sourcing and identifying prospects.
Used to reporting all activity accurately and timely.
Have strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Able to complete Excel spreadsheets.
Be a self motivated, strong communicator, who is able to lead by example, and a team player.
Must be capable of delivering the appropriate cost effective IT solutions, working with IT.
Strong relationship development and business development skills with a customer centric approach.
The ability to communicate at all levels.
