About this position

Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Solutions focused Sales Manager based in the Netherlands on behalf of a rapidly growing, technology focused logistics business.

This is predominantly a remote based/home based role, when you are not travelling to see clients or visiting the office once a week.

Scope of the Role:

This is a hybrid role, where you will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers in addition to developing the existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be the main sales/account management contact for clients primarily on the Dutch market.

Develop and maintain strong and trustworthy relationships with clients.

Build our clients market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.

Find new potential customers and focus on acquisition to increase the profit and revenue.

Ensure compliance with customers’ needs and wishes.

Analyse and identify upcoming needs and opportunities.

Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.

Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with our clients business operations.

Maintain internal CRM / reporting tools.

Comply with the rules & KPI´s of the company;

Develop our clients brand and company name within the market.

Protects organisation’s value by keeping information confidential.

Skills and experience required

A proven track record of new business generation and account management within Freight Forwarding/Supply Chain.

Commercially minded with excellent business acumen.

Good knowledge of Dutch and English (written and verbal)

Confident and proficient skills in the use of MS office and relevant software.

Existing network in HighTech, Retail and Consumer market would be desirable but not essential.

Outgoing friendly, customer focused and results driven.

Good organisational and communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

Ability to engage internally and externally at all levels.
