Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Senior Commercial Analyst on behalf of a globally renowned eCommerce distribution business. The role will be predominantly based in Slough with the option of some remote working.

Overall Role Purpose:
Directly support the Managing Director of Finance by making sense of complex commercial challenges, providing accurate and relevant analysis with diligence.
Key Activities:
Central department role: Supporting HoC, Pricing Manager, as well as providing guidance to junior team members.
Obtain holistic understanding of all department analysis and pricing tools; knowing when to use specific tools and software; amending and creating new formulas as required; working with the team to ensure tools are correctly setup.
Identify improvements to workflows and in-house software development requirements, to meet evolving business needs.
Analyse cost and margin fluctuations to support pricing and routing decisions.
Support with large projects such as annual rate reviews and pricing tenders.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, including International entities, providing support and analysis as required.
Previous experience working as a Senior Commercial Analyst, Senior Pricing Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst within the logistics sector or a service based business.
Excellent understanding of Office 365, especially Excel; competent creating and amending complex formulas with clarity.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Highly organised and able to work on own initiative.
Successful in problem-solving and utilising creativity.
