Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a Strategic Partner Manager to join the commercial team of a hyper growth, fast paced, global business that is radically changing the decades old delivery universe as we know it.

Scope of the Role:

As Strategic Partner Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and developing high-impact partnerships with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders to drive the strategic growth of the business.

You will lead complex negotiations, build executive-level relationships, and work cross-functionally to align internal teams and external partners in line with the companies long-term business objectives.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the company’s partner strategy and accelerating its market position within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership Development: Lead the identification, evaluation, and cultivation of strategic, high-value partnerships that align with our clients broader business objectives and vision.

Executive-Level Negotiations: Manage complex negotiations with C-suite executives and key decision-makers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes that drive growth and innovation for the business.

Partnership Strategy Leadership: Design and execute long-term strategies to expand our clients partner ecosystem, including large-scale partnerships and alliances that enhance UK market positioning.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with internal teams, including product, legal, finance, and marketing, to structure deals, ensure alignment, and facilitate smooth execution of partnerships.

Contract Negotiations Lead contract negotiation in collaboration with legal.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for C-suite and senior leaders of partner organisations, managing all communications and ensuring exceptional partner experience.

Industry Leadership: Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning the company as a key player in the industry through thought leadership and strategic partnerships.

Skills and experience required

It’s imperative you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, get your kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today’s stuff done, whilst building for the future. Our client are looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.

Proven track record in senior leadership roles within the logistics, 3PL, 4PL, or supply chain sectors, focusing on partner management or business development.

C-Suite Negotiation Expertise: Demonstrated success in negotiating and securing complex, high-impact partnerships with C-level executives.

Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels, particularly at the executive level.

Strategic Thinker: Strong business acumen and the ability to align partnership strategies with long-term organisational goals.

Analytical & Data-Driven: Advanced analytical skills with a proven ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and optimise partnership outcomes.

Exceptional Communication: Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas and strategies to senior stakeholders.

Sales-Driven Mindset: Strong business acumen and a proven ability to develop strategies that align partnership development with volume, revenue and sales goals.
