About this position

Vidu are running an exciting search for a Telesales Executive on behalf of a leading time critical logistics company.

Our client has engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search process.

Vidu’s team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.

Our client is one of the UK’s largest European dedicated express transport providers.

Their mission is “to continually develop as a market leader in international express logistics” and they are now looking for a Telesales Executive to help them with their mission through future projects as their business continues to expand.

As a Telesales Executive you will be:

Contacting existing and potential customers.

Introducing customers to the services which our client provides.

Ensuring that the Sales Team have appointments scheduled and provide general support to the Sales Team.

Ensuring the CRM is fully updated.

Preparing sales reports on productivity and targets.

Supporting new customer integration into Operations.

Building a valuable and qualified sales pipeline with identified customer projects, key players, qualified contacts and related business opportunities within your assigned territory (the UK)

Sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls.

New customer prospecting.

Be comfortable making multiple calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Ensuring you can route qualified opportunities to share with the Sales Manager.

Closing sales and achieve monthly and quarterly quotas.

Maintaining and keeping the company’s CRM up to date.

Skills and experience required

A proven track record in a similar or same role in the Logistics Industry.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.

Excellent planning and organisation skills.

The skills to work within a fast-paced environment.

Excellent influencing skills and the ability to manage customer expectations.

Ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative,

Proven track record of pro-active sales generation.

Ability to work to a structured price guide and demonstrate negotiation skills.

An additional European language (desirable)
