Vidu are working on a super exciting assignment in the search for a number of Territory Sales Managers on behalf of an extremely innovative, tech focused, Sameday logistics business.
Circa £50,000 basic salary, plus £8,000 car allowance, completely uncapped commission structure, travel expenses, 25 days holiday plus stats, pension, healthcare and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Your Mission:
You will be tasked with winning new customers within a defined geographic area within a region or area. The overall objective being to grow the total gross margin generated in this region or area and achieving individual sales margin targets.
You will ensure that your customers are aware of the range of our clients products and services and will be based both in the field, meeting customers face-to-face and in an office type environment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain effective relationships with new customers and always act with customers in mind, meeting their expectations and requirements by proactively obtaining customer information, recommending a compelling suite of our clients products or services, and negotiating contract prices and terms within agreed parameters.
Give your best efforts to exceed your new business gross margin target.
Demonstrate the benefits of our clients products and services and respond appropriately to customer’s requirements.
Engage in discussions and negotiations with customers to reach a point of mutual agreement keeping commercial factors in mind.
Close and formalise deals between our client and customers with appropriate commercial arrangements.
Generate your own leads and new business opportunities.
Work alongside the support and operations team to ensure that all new customers are set up and managed effectively.
Communicate with heads of departments to attain Operational and Commercial sign off.
Establish a systematic course of action for self and others to ensure accomplishment of sales objectives and goals.
Determine priorities and allocate time and resources effectively.
Develop and implement tactical plans with the Commercial Director in line with the company sales strategy for prospects and customers.
Keep up to date with business financials, products and services and those of our clients competitors.
Use sales tools in line with the agreed sales process to maintain and develop pipeline and customer information.
Attend team meetings and contribute as necessary on own individual performance, prepare for manager review meetings and complete sales reports accurately and on time.
Comply with Company policy and procedures including Health & Safety and accidents.
Experience selling same day, logistics, 3PL, parcel services or fulfilment.
Proven business to business sales experience.
Proven experience in working to and exceeding new business targets.
Experience of motivating oneself.
Knowledge of business-to-business sales processes and procedures.
Proven sales ability/appetite to learn.
Tenacious and target driven.
Good communicator at all levels.
Excellent team player, with the ability to work well autonomously.
Commercial knowledge or keen LinkedIn researcher!
Ability to present information clearly over the phone or via videoconferencing.
Adaptable and able to sell into a diverse customer base.
Experience of completing Sales forecasts and budgets.
IT literate to basic level, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
