Vidu are working on a really exciting assignment on behalf of a leading International Freight Company.
Our client have engaged with Vidu VIP to carry out the initial search process.
Vidu’s team of dedicated consultants will be your first point of contact when applying for this role.
As the Warehouse Manager you will have full operational accountability for the warehouse operations and report directly into the General Manager.
You will provide leadership to a team of site operations managers to ensure the efficient and cost effective fulfilment of customer requirements.
You will be responsible for looking after the daily management of 4 warehouses, not only managing current standards, but also the development of them, so our client can continue to grow.
You will work on continuous improvement strategies, ensuring that KPI’s and health and safety procedures are correctly followed.
Experience within a fast paced Warehouse environment is imperative.
Experience leading a multi-site operation is essential.
Strong man management and experience of managing teams in excess of 10.
Previous experience of managing warehouse staff in terms of coaching, mentoring, planning and monitoring.
A proven track record of continuous improvement initiatives.
HSE Knowledge – Risk Assessments/HACCP/COSHH/SOP’s.
A proven track record of managing inventory levels.
The ability to achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Fork Truck experience is desirable.
